“Beauty blooms when you stay rooted in truth”

Brianna Woodard is a self-taught artist and illustrator whose bold, expressive style is rooted in storytelling, culture, and resilience. Inspired by 70s aesthetics, Black joy, and her own journey, Brianna creates vibrant, retro-futuristic artwork that uplifts and empowers.

Her work has been featured in exhibitions like MCAN’s Art of Action: Carry It On and displayed on public platforms such as Valley Bike stations. Brianna uses art not just as a creative outlet, but as a tool for healing and connection — turning lived experience into colorful, unapologetic visuals that celebrate identity and community.

When she’s not sketching new concepts or preparing prints, you can find her exploring new cities, rewatching nostalgic 2000s films, or building platforms that spotlight Black voices and creativity.

Each piece she creates is a reminder: you are seen, you are powerful, and you deserve to take up space.
